Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Conversation on Belonging. Your willingness to show up, listen, share, and engage with one another made the evening incredibly meaningful.
As we shared, this is not the end of the conversation—it’s the beginning of community-informed action.
Here’s what you can expect from us in the coming weeks:
• Within 7 days, we will share a summary of the key themes we heard with the broader community
• We will begin forming a short-term, action-oriented Anti-Hate Task Force of 8–12 residents
• An interest form and one-page overview will be shared, shaped directly by your feedback
• We are committed to ensuring this group reflects a broad cross-section of our community
• Within two weeks of forming, the Task Force will identify 2–3 priority areas for action
• By May 1, we will provide a community update with progress and next steps
• The School Committee and Administration will provide an update on the school side at next Wednesday's School Committee Meeting.
Our goal was not to solve everything in one night, but to listen more deeply, see more clearly and move forward together with intention and shared responsibility. We look forward to continuing this work—together—as we build a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
