In an effort to promote a healthier and safer community, and in response to the rising misuse of opioids, the Town of Lynnfield formed The Lynnfield Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, known as A Healthy Lynnfield (AHL) and its Town Committee.
Today, A Healthy Lynnfield is a department within the Town of Lynnfield while also having a community-based A Healthy Lynnfield 501 (c) (3) working hard to support the mission of preventing substance misuse and to ensure those impacted have the help they need.

A Healthy Lynnfield's 501 (c) (3) organization is governed by a community Board of Directors and raises funds to support prevention work that grant funds may restrict.

We currently have 2 active youth leadership groups, many volunteers, several community partner organizations, and town departments that meet monthly to discuss implementation and direction of our community-wide prevention initiative.
We seek broad community representation in order to engage many voices in substance use prevention.
